Who we are
This website was produced by the Prevention of Child and Youth Sexual Exploitation
Committee of the Government of Alberta. This committee is committed to ensuring
that children and youth are protected from sexual exploitation in their
homes and in their community.
We want parents to use this website to learn how to protect themselves
and their families from the predators who lurk on the Internet.
We believe that by informing and involving responsible people of all
ages about cyber crime against children, we can identify and expose cyber
predators and help the justice system to prosecute criminals who threaten
the safety of children on the ‘Net.
